Hello all... raised by my Great Grandmother, Grandmother, Mother and several other "mothers"... I take my hat off to the women who step in and step up again and again.

Another good one Lydell...I see Brother Ty is in the house..appropriately. For me...if there were no Black woman on planet earth....I would have to call the Mother Ship to take me back to my home planet...LOL...Peace, Saint

It is my sincere belief that if all the black women in the United States made the decision not to go to work tomorrow, the entire American infrastructure would utterly collapse.
Behind every state, local and federal government entity you will find black women maintaining them.

If we look behind the scenes of every major corporation you will find black women in the administrative positions that keep them functioning. Black women have always been America’s meal ticket. Black women have carried the load of this country since its inception and America owes all of its wealth to the Black Women who have supported it.

Here is a little poetic tribute to all women of African descent.

This was a wonderful idea for a group. I was one of those guys who would always talk slick about women; about what I use to do to them, how much money I got from them and the fact that I never loved any of them. Well, fella's, I'm living proof that a woman can come along and chang the game. After I found God, I thought that there weren't any single, GOOD, GOD-FEARING women left on the planet so I was through looking. God tell us in His Word that a man SHOULD NOT search for a woman. I never understood that, but now I do. It's because He already has someone set aside and all we have to do is be still and know that He Is God!!! Me? Happy, in love and about to head to the alter for the seconc and final time. AMEN!!!

I guess I'll start the conversation here. My life without black women would not and could not exist (for the obvious reasons and not so obvious as well). Black women in my life were and still prove to be the most consistently positive examples of strength, courage and love all rolled into one. The "men" in my life were simply unable to meet the challenge of guiding me as a young man. I have a lot more to say about that. But, I will just begin this by saying my love, respect and admiration for the strength of women of the diaspora is never ending. They will always have a special place in my heart. The strength, love and courage they showed in their lives now lives in me. I thank you all for touching my soul.
