Building Capital From The Inside Out - Traveling Along The Mobius Strip

"New leadership is needed for new times, but it will not come from finding more wily ways to manipulate the external world. It will come as we who serve and teach and lead find the courage to take an inner journey toward both our shadows and our light--a journey that, faithfully pursued, will take us beyond ourselves to become healers of a wounded world." - Parker J. Palmer

A Little Story

There is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody,Anybody and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done. Please check out the whole story and respond to the questions in the blog.

Ole School Messages In The Music Part 1

Music has always conveyed on many different levels the condition, mind and soul of the Brotherhood of Man (The Individual & Collective Womb/Man). Reflecting upon some of the last 50-60 years I wanted to share Part 1 in a series of “Ole School Messages In The Music” and see what you think has changed and what is the same. Enjoy as it brings back memories from back in the day. If you are willing to share your thoughts with us, we will share the entire file with you for download. Your post… Continue

Does Everybody Need To Consider?

What is missing most in our society are opportunities for meaningful dialogue. We are distracted by the bombardment of superfluous "news" and what the media machine wants to condition us to that we lose sight of the bills slipping through congress, the disparities, 30,000 plus more American mothers, fathers, daughters and sons risking their lives in combat situations, poverty escalating, housing and financial crisis - you name it. We could stop the madness because the system depends on us… Continue

Accidentally posted as an email. My badd! Please, let the dialogue continue.

"Deception is perhaps the oldest of all the techniques by which the weak have protected themselves against the strong. A house divided against itself cannot stand. If a man continues to call a good thing bad, he will eventually lose his sense of moral distinctions. It is not possible to quarantine a certain kind of deception so that it will not affect the rest of one's life? The penalty of deception is to… Continue

Common-Unity (Community Life)

I've been finding and realizing and accepting just how much time it takes to maintain and build relationships. Everyday there is a new group to join...how good is the quality when I scatter myself thinly? How much time am I investing or SPENDING when I bounce back and forth. Below is a message I am posting on other sites where I have friends and associates. I would be interested in what you think. I am settling down in the Living Legacy Journal community. This is where I want to plant, grow and… Continue

Building Cultural Capital

Carter G. Woodson, Founder of Black History Month, 1875-1950 stated; "When you control a human's thinking you do not have to worry about their actions. You do not have to tell them not to stand here or go yonder. They will find their 'proper place' and will stay in it. You do not have to send them to the back door. they will go there without being told. In fact, if there is no back door, they will cut one for their special benefit. Their education makes it necessary."

I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on:(mr.frankkwabena000@gmail.com) for the full details.

Have a nice day

Thanks God bless.

Mr Frank.

Great Day Brother. I was with Lydell over the weekend talking about many things. Your name came up a couple of times. One of those times was when your and Ty Grey-el's name were in the same sentence. Ty and I are great friends. I have been doing broadcast radio for about 5 years now. I want to do Blog Talk Radio and hope you will be willing to show me the ropes so to speak. Please get back to me on that.Thanx

I may have posted the comment as a message and I'm still learning how to navigate through the site. Thanks for you patience with a brother in learning... Here is the comment again. The penalty of deception is to become a deception, with all sense of moral discrimination vitiated." It is the TRUTH that will set us free...be not deceived. Any thoughts...
