Shoes 4 Haiti

Shoes 4 Shoes is a charity here in Raleigh that provides shoes for the needy year round and to the victims of natural disasters. They are currently collecting shoes to send to Haiti. The goal is 500,000 pairs.

Originally, they committed to sending 150,000 but because of the outpouring of support from the community, they have raised that goal. In two weeks I have collected 112 pairs to assist Shoes 4 Souls with their goal from my friends and family(I'm not done collecting). Collecting 112 pairs is a small part but if everyone does something we can help Haiti get back on their feet.

I truly believe that love/charity is not shown with words but through selfless acts. I encourage everyone to get involved. Don't just sit on the side lines and be a spectator. Do whatever you can for your neighbors, your friends, your brothers and sisters.

Special thanks to Michelle for helping me pass out fliers at work.
