What were your memories of the 70's?



I was born in Brazil in 1966.



In the early 70's I attended the American School of Brasilia, Brazil and was exposed to Led Zeppelin, AC DC, Kiss, etc... , however, I had an uncle who listened to Jazz and I will never forget when I first heard Billie Holidays' voice. It enveloped me and I was smitten.

What are your thoughts on Blaxploitation films?



According to Wikipedia.org, Blaxploitation is a film genre that emerged in the United States in the early 1970s when many exploitation films were made that targeted the urban black audience; the word itself is a portmanteau of the words "black" and "exploitation."
